Following the success of our first 31 day nutrition challenge and an amazing upgrade to the system, we will be running another challenge during the month of October.
The UR Nutrition System is a great online tool which allows you to easily plan and monitor what you are eating via a simple points system. It allows you to create weekly meal plans which can then be converted into a shopping list making it easier and saving you time when it comes to doing the food shopping. All of the recipes are easy to prepare, are nutritionally balanced and are super tasty.
When first logging into the system you enter some personal information, including your current weight, which allows the system to calculate your daily points allowance. Once you know your daily allowance you then browse through the hundreds of recipes either by meal type, searching by units or by searching for a specific ingredient. The system includes vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free and clean eating recipes.
Each recipe has a points value which varies depending upon the ingredients and portion size and can be easily adjusted to feed 1 person up to multiple people.
To launch the upgraded system and start the October challenge #UR31DayChallenge we will be running a workshop on Sunday 23rd September at 12.30pm.
If you would like to come along to see the system and sign up to the challenge please email firstname.lastname@example.org or let either of us know the next time you are at the gym.
If you are in two minds about taking part in the challenge please see below some comments from participants of the last challenge :
“I have lost 7lbs (my goal was 6lbs) and 5cms from my waist (my goal was 2cms). I am in absolute shock!! This is the first kind of weight loss thing I’ve tried that has actually worked. Thanks UR” – Tamara
“This challenge has definitely taught me a lot about healthy eating and actually made me enjoy food more. I have lost inches and really changed what and when I eat so I am very happy it is my normal now so I’m continuing. Thanks for doing this” – Jo Lilliot
“Its been tough but good I’ve stopped snacking in the last two weeks which is a huge step for me” – Niamh
“Although I spent much time on the wrong mountain I have learnt quite a lot about me eating habits – have even managed to reduce my portion sizes which I consider a major miracle” – Louise
“I am over the moon with my results (-5.5lb & -7.5cms from waist) and have walked around with a big smile today. I would recommend anyone thinking of wanting to change their eating habits and modify their lifestyle, to give the UR nutritional programme a go. It will be worth it.” – Gaynor
We look forward to seeing you on the 23rd.
Yours in health,
Nikki & Steph
